Michigan Custom Machines, Inc. (MCM), leading designers and builders of custom test and assembly equipment, announces the availability of the cost-effective and innovative Pro One EUI Universal EUI injector functional test machine. The power to confirm proper performance of today’s advanced fuel injectors is available in a portable, flexible and functional machine. MCM’s Pro One EUI is distributed exclusively by ProDiesel (Nashville, TN).

MCM’s Pro One EUI lets operators test fuel injector performance by automatically comparing a range of performance measurements against acceptance criteria. In a wide range of applications, operators have at their fingertips the ability to test with confidence. By simply changing cam profile and fixturing, the machine accommodates several different product envelopes. The flexible design of Pro One EUI drives the full range of solenoid-based diesel injectors on the market today with considerations for future requirements.

All measurements are automatic and traceable with proper calibration. Unlike other test machines, the Pro One EUI can test a single injector and immediately deem it as good or bad. With the user friendly design, the testing process is simplified through automatic clamp force control and automatic fuel pressure control. The test cycle and result evaluation is automatic. Built-in PC and PLC control allows a separate parameter for every product and part type. Ethernet is available for expanded use.

PFIM Technology
The innovative Pro One EUI uses the Programmable Fuel Injector Module (PFIM), an MCM-developed, state-of-the-art device capable of generating the appropriate wave forms for virtually all solenoid-based diesel injectors. Injectors are fired in sync with the cam and the firing angle can be varied through software. This industry-leading technology is the same product used in MCM’s production common rail, EUI and HEUI test machines.
